Why these items?

Focussing on laptops and PCs allow us to have the greatest impact by:

• Spending our time repairing and refurbishing the items that are most likely to find new homes
• Keeping the items with the highest environmental impact (production and disposal) in use for longer
• Promoting digital inclusion, and providing tech to those that need it most​

"You can't accept my item - what can I do?

We have revised our accepted items list to maximise our digital inclusion impact - which means we can provide tech access to even more people in need!

Unfortunately, the time and cost required to refurbish others items, coupled with a low resale rate means it is no longer suitable for us to accept all item types.

If you have an item that is suitable for reuse, but not accepted by Tech-Takeback - consider listing it on Freegle. There's thousands of people in the Freegle community and lots of options for reuse!
